This crescent moon ear cuff is hand formed and deep laser engraved from 925 sterling silver. It has been tumbled for a bright finish and to give it strength. It is intended to be worn at the midpoint of the ear. No piercing is required for an ear cuff, it slides on easily, and is comfortable.
Size is 1/2" in diameter and the band width is 1/4". It can also be slightly adjusted by pinching it closed or slightly opening it (however this should only be done once or twice, not regularly). The cuff is large enough to fit on the middle of the ear over the cartilage. Start at the top of the ear (or where your ear is narrowest) and slide the cuff down, pushing it in over the cartilage. It may be adjusted once if needed so it just fits over the cartilage at the middle of the ear.
IMPORTANT: Do not open and close the cuff to put it on! Once it is adjusted to your ear, just slide it down to put it on and slide up to take it off. If you open and close the cuff repeatedly, it may become misshapen and/or break.
Care of your piece:
Wash occasionally with warm water and mild soap. May be polished occasionally if needed with a mild polishing compound.
